“The Beginning of the End”
Lost returned tonight with the long-awaited premiere of Season 4. In recognition, I’ve decided to begin using this space each week to indulge in the grand original purpose of “blogging.” That is, of course: Telling the world what some nobody thinks of their favorite TV show.
As for the episode itself, I must say…it didn’t really have any of those “Holy crap!” moments that I’ve come to know and love. It was still quite enjoyable, but hell…I’m just happy it’s back.
Thoughts:
1) The guy sitting in Jacob’s chair, just might be Jack’s dad.
2) Hurley is a classic tragic character, worthy of Shakespeare (who was really a bit of a hack in my opinion).
3) The chalkboard in the background of the mental institute appears to contain a drawing of a tropical island…which is a nice touch.
Now, I just can’t wait until next week.
